1.CPU and Power Supply

Models that start with CX indicate an embedded PC

For the CX1030, CX1020, and CX1010, the CPU and power modules need to be selected separately, while the CX9000 and CX9010 integrate the CPU and power supply into one. The product selection of the CX series should determine three points in order: the model of the CPU, the clock frequency, and whether the memory card can be expanded.

2.System Expansion Module

2.1 Serial communication interface module

The CX series of embedded PCs can be expanded with up to 2 serial communication interface modules.

2.2 Fieldbus interface module

The selection of fieldbus modules is based on: bus type, master/slave.

3.Signal Module

The embedded PCs of the CX series can be connected directly to local I/O via power modules or remote I/O via fieldbus or EtherCAT and support all types of IO modules from Beckhoff.
