CP471-00 processor module is a powerful, high-performance analytical input module for a wide range of industrial applications.

Operating Conditions

• CP471 operates with the field control station control function of CENTUM VP R6.05 or higher.

• CP471 can only be installed on CENTUM field control units.

• The CP471 can be used in combination with the ESB Bus Coupler Module EC401 with style code S3 or higher.

Maintenance Information

• CP471 can be replaced online with dual redundancy.

• Used to replace existing CP461 with CP471.

1. The software version of the control function of the field control station must be R6.05 or above.

2. The style code of the ESB Bus Coupler Module EC401 used with the CP471 must be S3 or higher.

3. Users are prohibited from replacing CP461 to CP471.

 Replacement work must be done by a Yokogawa authorized service engineer.

4. The CP471 cannot coexist with the CP461 in a dual-redundant configuration.

 However, a pair of CP461 in a dual redundant configuration can be replaced with a pair of CP471 online.

5. Existing CP471 cannot be replaced with CP461.
